In January of 2016, Evelyn Castellar, Founder of Projecto Honduras, received a call from the Mayor's office in La Ceiba. They wanted to recognize her for the efforts of Projecto Honduras' in the local area. To her surprise she was also given the "Key to the City". When her little girls asked her what it does she told them, “It opens hearts!"
